Jennifer Vivekanand is a Michigan-based author who writes young adult and adult fiction—stories that range from thriller to romance, coming-of-age, and blend mystery, humor, and unexpected twists.

She has a BFA from Kendall College of Art & Design, as well as summer studies at the Royal College of Art in London and the Pietro Vannucci Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, Italy. She’s enjoyed residencies deep in the woods at Hedgebrook on Whidbey Island, Washington, and Arteles Creative Center in rural Finland—experiences that deepened her love for character-driven storytelling and mystery.

A member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), when she’s not writing, Jennifer enjoys travel, reading, board games, musicals, escape rooms, and embarrassing her kids with her dance moves.
